Nancy Adajania (* 1971) is a cultural theorist and independent curator based in Bombay. She has written and lectured extensively on transcultural art practice and the relationship between art and productive politics (including at Documenta 11, Kassel; ZKM, Karlsruhe; Transmediale, Berlin; Kuenstlerhaus Wien, Vienna; and BAK, Utrecht). Adajania was Editor-in-Chief of Art India magazine. She has proposed several new theoretical models. Her writing has appeared in numerous critical anthologies, journals and catalogues. Adajania has edited a monograph, Shilpa Gupta (Prestel, 2010) and co-authored The Dialogues Series (Popular Prakashan/ foundation b&g, 2011). She is a research scholar at BAK basis voor actuele kunst, Utrecht.

Wassan AI-Khudhairi (* 1980) is a curator who specializes in modern and contemporary art from the Arab world. As the first ever director of Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, Al-Khudhairi was responsible for developing the newly established institution, overseeing policy development, acquisitions and collections registration. During her tenure at Mathaf, she curated "Saraab: Cai Guo-Qiang" (2011) and co-curated "Sajjil: A Century of Modern Art" (2010). Al-Khudhairi is of Iraqi origin and has lived in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the U.K. and the U.S., where she worked at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta and the Brooklyn Museum of Art in New York.

Mami Kataoka (* 1965) is a curator and writer. She has been the Chief Curator of the Mori Art Museum, Tokyo, Japan, since 2003. From 2007-2009, Kataoka joined the curatorial team at the Hayward Gallery in London as the first international curator. During her tenure at the Mori Art Museum, Kataoka has curated a number of exhibitions, including: "Ai Weiwei: According to What?" (2009), which is touring in the US in 2012 onwards, and "Lee Bul: From Me, Belongs to You Only" (2012). She most recently guest curated "Phantoms of Asia: Contemporary Awakens the Past" (2012) at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco.

Sunjung Kim (* 1965) is a Seoul-based curator and Professor at the Korea National University of Arts. From 1993 to 2004, Kim was the Chief Curator at Artsonje Center, Seoul. In 2005, she was the commissioner of the Korean Pavilion at the 51st Venice Biennale and founded SAMUSO: Space for Contemporary Art, a curatorial office based in Seoul. Through SAMUSO Kim established Platform Seoul, an annual art festival whose editions have included: "Somewhere in Time" (2006), "Tomorrow" (2007), "I have nothing to say and I am saying it" (2008), "Platform in KIMUSA: Void of Memory" (2009) and "Projected Image" (2010). Kim was the Artistic Director of the 6th Seoul International Media Art Biennale - Media City Seoul 2010.

Carol Yinghua Lu (* 1977) is a curator and writer based in Beijing. She is a contributing editor for Frieze and writes frequently for international art journals and magazines including e-flux journal, The Exhibitionist, Yishu, and Tate Etc. From 2005-2007, she was the China researcher for Asia Art Archive, and she was a jury member for the 2011 Venice Biennale’s Golden Lion Award. Little Movements: Self-Practices in Contemporary Art, a research-based project she initiated and curated with Liu Ding, was exhibited at the OCT Contemporary Art Terminal in Shenzhen in September 2011. Lu co-curated the 7th Shenzhen Sculpture Biennale 2012 titled "Accidental Message: Art is Not a System, Not a World". She is a jury member for Future Generation Art Prize 2012, and together with Liu Ding, she will be the guest curator for Museion, Bolzano, Italy in 2013. 

Alia Swastika (* 1980) is a Jakarta based curator and writer. From 2002-2004, she was Associate Editor for SURAT and Artistic Manager at Cemeti Art House, one of Indonesia’s most reputable art spaces. Since 2008 she has curated exhibitions for Ark Galerie, Jakarta. Swastika received study grants from the Asia Europe Foundation (Berlin, 2005), the Asian Cultural Council (New York, 2006), Art Hub (Shanghai, 2007), and the National Art Gallery (Singapore, 2010). Recent shows include: "The Past The Forgotten Time" (Amsterdam, Jakarta, Semarang, Shanghai, Singapore, 2007-2008); "Manifesto: The New Aesthetic of Seven Indonesian Artists" (Institute of Contemporary Arts, Singapore, 2010); and solo exhibitions for Eko Nugroho, Tintin Wulia, Wimo Ambala Bayang, and Jompet Kuswidananto. Swastika co-curated the 2011 Jogja Biennale XI and curated Art Dubai’s 2012 Indonesian focused Marker Program.
