On the right, Palazzo Moro a San Barnaba where Cristoforo Moro lived, Doge of Venice from 1462 to 1471. Some believe that he was the person that inspired Shakespeare for his Othello, and therefore the Palazzo is called sometimes "House of Othello".
Palazzo Loredan dell'Ambasciatore (at the center) is a late 15th-century Gothic palace, called "dell'ambasciatore" because it was the home of the ambassadors of the Austrian Empire to the Republic of Venice. Today there are holiday appartments for rent.
