This is a walk around the art spaces of the Sharjah Art Foundation in the Al Mureijah neighbourhood, including the five new buildings, inaugurated in March 2013, and several heritage buildings used as venues for the Sharjah Biennial and other temporary exhibitions. It bridges a span of time between the oldest days of Sharjah and the most recent and cutting-edge developments in architecture and visual arts.

Along a walking itinerary of only a few hundred meters, you can see:

- SAF Art Spaces
Five new multi-functional exhibition spaces of the Sharjah Art Foundation, inaugurated with the 11th Sharjah Biennial, on 13 March 2013. With approximately 20,000 square feet of interior space, connected by open-air courtyards and rooftop terraces, the buildings dialogue with both the existing physicality of the urban fragment as well as its history and past use.
Heritage buildings, used by the Sharjah Art Foundation as venues for exhibitions and events:

- Bait Hassan Mukhtar

- Bait Hussain Makrani

- Bait Gholoum Ibrahim

- Bait Khaled Bin Ibrahim Al Yousif

- Bait Habib Shalawani
