Al Mureijah Art Spaces
Inaugurated with SB 11 in 2013, the new buildings include six galleries of different sizes to experience art along with exterior spaces such as courtyards, alleyways, open squares and an inter-connected roofscape.

From the two galleries around the inner courtyard, the left larger one has a visitor information desk at the entrance.
Its operable glazing system blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior space. A peripheral skylight balances the light from the court. The seamless grey cement floor of the exterior is continued into the interior floors reinforcing the interior-exterior spatial continuity.
The dimensions and multifunctional character of Gallery 1 make it also an ideal space for hosting the March Meetings and other events.
Total interior exhibition area: 440 sqm.
