Xochicalco
The most important center in Central Mexico, between 700 - 900 A.D. Its name means "in the house of the flowers".

In Xochicalco there were three ritual ball game fields. The ring seen in the center was originally placed high on the wall. A ball made of compact rubber was supposed to be introduced through it. The players were only allowed to touch the ball with the ellbows, hips, and backside.
