Obelisk Tomb

The Obelisk Tomb, a major Nabatean monument from the 1st century AD has four pyramidal obelisks (nephesh, in Nabataean Aramaic for “soul”) and a carved figure between them on the façade, corresponding to the five tombs inside.

The Triclinium right below has a chamber for holding annual banquets in honour of the dead.
