Mosaic from the Upper Chapel of the Priest John

The central field has a composition of medallions of interlaced acanthus leaves. There are three medallions per row, and in each appears a human figure, the personification of the Earth, or an animal. The composition probably represents the divine blessing as expressed in the Genesis.
