Usina del Arte and surroundings

The Usina del Arte (Art Factory), inaugurated in various stages between 2011 and 2013, with its two auditoriums of extraordinary acoustic, exhibition spaces, and public programs, has become one of the main hubs and magnets of the Distrito de las Artes (Art District). With this long term development project, the Government of the City aims to transform a large area between Av. San Juan in the quarter of San Telmo, and Av. Don Pedro de Mendoza in the South of La Boca, into a district of cultural and touristic appeal by fostering the artistic sector in all disciplines, promoting private investment, and the improvement of the urbanization and infrastructure.
