The best panoramic views, and unusual perspectives of the city skyline and of many of its landmarks can be enjoyed navigating the Rio de la Plata.

Our photos were taken on the ferry crossing to Colonia, Uruguay. The river here is about 45 km wide.

There are many options for boat tours on the Rio de la Plata, from half hour trips, departing from Puerto Madero, Dársena Sur, to two hour cruises boarding at Dársena Norte pier, or sunset cruises enjoying drinks onboard.

There are also boat trips combined with a tour of the city including lunch, or departing from the city's port sailing along the Río de la Plata and the Paraná Delta until reaching Tigre.
