The Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires - founded on April 11, 1956, on the initiative of the critic Rafael Squirru - affirms itself as the home of Argentine artists, and seeks to create an unforgettable experience for the visiting public.
The Moderno was conceived as an avant-garde space not only for the visual arts, but also for other expressions such as photography and design. It has a collection of modern and contemporary Argentine art of over 7,000 works.
Its exhibitions and educational activities seek to establish dialogues between the past and the present, established and experimental, providing a dynamic program that incorporates exhibitions of the Collection with works of great Argentine artists among which are Alberto Greco, León Ferrari, Luis Felipe Noé, Emilio Renart and Liliana Maresca.
