Sep 2015The 5th Edition of Dream City will take place from 4 - 8 November 2015 in the Medina of Tunis. This Multidisciplinary Biennal of Contemporary Art in Public Space has become a key event of the Tunisian art scene.
Under the general theme of "Art and Social Bonds," the selected artists from the MENA region, Africa, and Europe will reflect on art as cement of a new society, vector of social and intercultural cohesion.
In order to enrich these reflexions, for the first time Dream City directors Selma & Sofiane Ouissi have appointed a curator, Jan Goossens, who is the artistic director of The Royal Flemish Theatre (KVS) in Brussels, and who has worked intensively in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The artists will work in neighbourhoods south of the Medina of Tunis. Their creations will engage with until then invisible communities, their present and history.
